2008 Malibu 23LSV Wakesetter

Recommended Posts

I’m sure this has been asked but haven’t had much success finding for the 08 model . Any pointers on self winterizing a 2008 23LSV. Or anyone have a step by step on what to do? Live in TX and it gets below 32 occasionally but not for long. Any help is much appreciated.

I always followed this video when winterizing my 06.

This is the same video I follow when I winterize my 2008 Monsoon 350 except that I don’t worry with the antifreeze.

Here are a couple of things I do different/extra than the video:

1. After pulling the engine plugs, jab a piece of wire into the hole to make sure it is not clogged.

2. I put all plugs back in block after I’m done so threads don’t have issues in spring with rusty threads.

3. I blow some compressed air through the heater hoses to get all the water out.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
