23LSV - solid interior?

Working on colors for a 23LSV order and trying to find pics of solid interiors.  I've seen a lot of the brown interior, but has anyone got pics of a solid black interior?  Wife wants a more simple scheme, not lots of different colors and patterns.

I've seen several with single color interiors, but none with an all black interior.  All black would scare the heck out of me with temperature, even if it's cool touch.  I've also seen, from a dealer close to you, some solid light graphite interiors.  I've seen all Vapor Blue, all Zephyr Blue, all Indy Red, all Sepia, and all Azure before with an accent color bead.  Most of which I've note been a fan of, but that's also highly subjective.

We minimized multiple colors in our '21 23LSV order.  We wanted some variation and added the top stitch option to both the dash and the boat.  I'd post pics, but she hasn't been built yet.

Well, it is your money, but Cool Touch or not I cannot see this being a great idea.  (Not everything my wife dreams up is a good idea, but I digress...)  1251585381_Darkbrown-blue.thumb.JPG.abca

Or look at this non-Malibu as an example.  https://www.atxboats.com/boats/22-type-s-phantom  Almost 100% black interior; blackish you might say.  ;)

Hello. Found this boat with solid and dark interior while shopping around. Link here: https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2020-malibu-wakesetter-23-mxz-7612390/

For me, even with cool touch an interior this dark would be toasty.

Best,

Chris

I was in a Supra with cool touch and all black interior.  I would not recommend doing it.  Even on an overcast day, the interior was pretty warm....but it's your money (and your bottoms).

I have all graphite and love it!  I personally do not like the patchwork quilt look when 2 or 3 colors are used on these boats.  Solid interiors are so much cleaner looking!

Solid black or even graphite just seems like it would be hotter heck. WE have some graphite on ours and its still noticeably hotter than the white.

Sat on a graphite cool touch interior while test driving a 2021 25, full sun in August in PA.  Was it warm, sure...was it too hot to sit, nope.  Compared to my 19 with mostly light graphite, the cool touch was very comfortable!

We have had almost all graphite and black in our 2019 and 2020 VTX. Does it get hot? Yes. So did my moonbeam and light graphite on our TXi. I never had them side by side but I would most definitely order it again. The new style vinyl Malibu is using cools off instantly with a bit of air flow or water. We have just the regular vinyl, not the cool touch. We love the look.

No it is not the Cool Touch Vinyl, it was the standard Graphite color they had in the early build 2019's. I think they only offered the Cool Touch in black that year. I haven't had any issues with it getting too hot though.

Thanks Chappy.  I ordered my 23 LSV with all Cool Gunmetal Gray and a Zephyr Blue cushion bead.  Then I remembered how often I was trying to scrub the small toenail polish scuffs off the white and light gray vinyl in my old boat.  I hope the cool touch vinyl isn't as prone to color transfer as the vinyl in that boat.  Due to the construction and chemical application to make it dissipate heat, scrubbing may not be an option...

My 2021 25lsv is mostly vapor blue and black. The cool touch stays cooler than the older vinyl (I had solid brown in my last 23lsv), but it still gets hot in direct sun.  I would never do solid black.

My current 2021 25 build is all cool black with tan stitch/bead interior. I live in the NW (Seattle) so it doesn't get that hot here in our summers.

@Jimmy Buffett what did you end up going with?

We ended up with graphite interior.  The black interior is awesome though.  Last boat was all black.  Sorta wish we had gone with more black but it's hard to make decisions using the online tool only.  We shall see when it gets here in 2 months!
