Bimini Frame

One of the options that Wakeside gives with the Titan Bimini is to have the frame in black powdercoat. Since my windshield frame is black and the tower is black, wouldn't that look better than chrome? The bimini clamps come in black too. I am thinking that would look pretty good. The top will be camel color with a navy stripe. Any thoughts?

I think it would look great. I am wishing I had considered that when I ordered mine.

The stripe and powdercoat will cost about 100 bucks extra total.

I'd definitely do that. Much cleaner look.

Keep in mind that your board / ski racks will still have some chrome. Post some pics when you get it...

I had mine powder coated black, turned out great. My tower is black with polished aluminum rack backs, black rack fingers.

Since you mentioned the clamps will be black, are you using Wakesides clamps vs Titan clamps for your bimini?

I think that because the Titan bimini frame "telescopes" the powdercoat would take a beating in the wear area during telescoping....

Would look cool though...

Go for it - it'll all blend in nicely - I wish we'd done it with ours
