Looking to replace our 2014 23LSV.
We almost exclusively surf

We really like the surf wake on our current 23   We have surf gate and 750 lb plug n plays

How is the surf wake on each for 2021?

are they better than my current?

which one is better?   And is it a big difference.

I was looking to replace our 2013 23lsv this year with either the 23lsv or M220. I did a lot of head scratching over this one and decided to wait another year until we get more m220 data this year.

The m220 sits higher and doesn’t have the low rider cool look of LSV. However, I was excited to have the prospect of handling rough days better, not taking as much water over the bow when loaded up for surfing, and have a bigger surf wake. It’s a more stubby look, but with PnP I think it would still sit ok.

I only have videos to tell you about and the opinions of the dealers. But mix that with my G21, and 23lsv experience I was leaning toward the m220.

Take the 150k plunge and let us all know.

I was trying to decide between the 2021 LSV and M220 when I ordered our new boat this fall.  After speaking with my dealer, and correspondence between him and the factory, I decided to go with the LSV.  They assured me both would be very noticeably better than my 2017 LSV 23.  The 220 was supposed to be a bit bigger and meatier than than the LSV 23, but the difference didn't appear to be as significant as the price delta.  This is why we went LSV again.  Our dealer is supposed to get a 220 this spring, so I may have some buyer's remorse once I get to see it and ride behind it, but for now I am still happy with our decision.

I agree!  This past summer my dealer ordered a 220 and I was able to climb aboard and really take a look at things.  To keep the price down the boat was not overly optioned and really didn’t look as nice as the 240 I saw at NYC boat show.  Yes it was meatier, but with the hefty price increase I couldn’t justify looking any further.  Granted I didn’t go for a test ride or surf behind it but could the wave be 15k better?
