Winterize '92 Malibu Euro3?

Do a search in these forums... this has been covered MANY times.  Quick and dirty:

1. Run engine on fake an lake until up to operating temp

2. Remove ail filter, fog carburetor with fogging oil for 5-10secs, I usually do it until I stall the engine (or you can shut off and remove plugs and fog each cylinder individually)

3. Drain and Change oil/filter if you have hit the change interval

4. Remove all drain plugs and drain the water from the exhaust manifolds and block

5. remove impeller and put it in a ziplock bag on the dash

 6. re-install block drains, disconnect cooling hoses at thermostat and fill with some RV antifreeze just to ensure any leftover water in the block can't freeze

A lot of people's procedures differ... but that's what I do.

If you have a hot water shower, and heater make sure you drain those.

I put bounce dryer sheets and dessicant in the boat as well.

Just make sure you poke something into the block drain holes to be sure there is no debris blocking the water from coming out.

This is real!!  Last week I helped a neighbor winterize his Mercruiser 4.3, and I opened the first block drain and nothing came out.  I said "are you sure you didn't already drain it?"  He was like "wow, I guess it's empty".  Then I asked him to get a piece of wire, and stuck it in, and sure enough water poured out.  It would have been a cracked block for sure.
