Out of the hole THROTTLE SETTING

I have a 2018 Malibu Response.  According to the owners manual there is a THROTTLE SETTING of Regular or Aggressive.  Is this an OUT OF THE HOLE setting?  What are the implications of each setting?

Just changes the throttle curve on the controller.  Meaning you jump up the throttle curve with less movement of your hand. It makes things very jumpy and harder control small adjustments on the low end. You can give it a try, but I found it had more of a negative effect.  It does not change anything at the engine level, just adjusts the throttle lever signal.
