Trying to figure out exactly what engine my boat I just purchased has in it.  Trying to get oil filter and oil changed. I want to make sure I equip it with the correct replacement parts. It currently has a k&n HP 3002 filter on it. The guy I purchased the boat from didn’t seem to know much of anything about it because he wasn’t the original owner.

strong engine, simple to work on, originally rated at 320 hp

15w40 diesel rated motor oil
