Winterizing a 2021 23LSV engine

Recommended Posts

I live in central TX and we only get a few days where is get below freezing at night.   I keep the boat stored high and dry but wife likes to go out for boat rides on those really nice days.  Can some one tell me what would be the best way to put the boat back up after using it, and setting it up for a cold spell that comes in.  Thanks

Me. Up here in Fort Worth I just prop open the rear bench seat and point one of those tiny office desk heaters with a thermostat and fan into the engine bay. Cover the boat. Done. I’ve got a cheap wireless thermometer I leave in the boat I can read from the house. 15F windy January day and the engine is 45F. Love it. Usually the next day is one of those “nice days” for a ride.
