Boat wouldnt start for a short time

We just bought a 2013 MXZ and cruised/surfed for an hour. Eng Temp was 160, safety cord in place, in neutral. 3/4 fuel.  Went to start it and it turned over and wouldn't start. Shut all batteries off. Let sit. Took several tries to finally start. Probably 20 mins or so. Finally started.

Thoughts  ?

i do not think that era Indmar suffered this symptom at all do they?  im 960 hours on a 14 and not a whiff of this and i do not recall any posts about it for this era Indmar.  im in New Orleans and we get hot!!

Another thought that beached me was the little electronic module on the distributor (ICM).  It acted like vapor lock, for a couple outings, then suddenly it wouldn't start at all.
