Bimini Boot 2007 23 LSV with Illusion X Tower

Recommended Posts

I bought 2007 23 LSV with the illusion X tower this summer and it did not have a bimini boot for the bimini for storage. I bought a replacement boot from Bakes Marine. Does anyone have any pics of the bimini in the boot and secured to the tower? Do I have to take off any of the aluminum supports?

IIRC the back supports and front tubes come out, then the bimini folds all the way forward (by the light) and lays flat on the tower, Bag goes on and buckles around the tower. If you have the bimini extension then im not sure how that works

I have the same boat/tower.  If you have the stock bimini, you only need to remove the front support legs (12" long tubes) which have a push-button release from the bimini frame.  My bimini boot has a pocket for these legs.  The rear bimini frame supports fold up and will be covered/secured by the storage boot.

The storage boot should have straps with clips.  these straps simply wrap around the tower to secure the stored bimini while towing.
