Evolution Cover - 2000 era SSLXi

I need a new cover for my 2000 Sunsetter LXi. 

Anyone have pics and experience with an Evolution cover on a SSLXi from that era?  I'm curious if cover sits on the trunk much.  I'd really like to get away from tent poles....

One of my ski crew has a 99 with Evolution cover. The cover is tight and I don't think he used tent poles. 99% sure. It does sit on the trunk some.

Evolution cover (circa 2006) on an '01 SSLXi. Still own boat & cover.

You don't mind the bit of vinyl and that transom aren't covered?

PS - what's that little step on your swim platform?

I have trap door on my '00 but not the step. 🤷‍♂️

Or perhaps the "step" reference is to the bang board at the transom?

Yes, the "step" is actually 2 additional pieces of teak which I mounted to protect the transom from the wakeboards of my sons (then much younger) and their careless friends.

I thought my friends cover was just a little longer but not a lot.

I have had this Evolution cover for 8-9 years. It is a little Stretched and thin from towing back and forth for ten 11-12 hours round trips to Arkansas at the posted speed limit or just innocently above.   I have a build date with Cory of 12-7–20 for a new one. Cory makes an excellent cover and provides top notch service. (E. Cover fan boy)
