I need to pick up an Inflator for my Big Mable towable tube. this thing is big and takes for every to inflate, does anyone have an inflator that works good for big inflatables?

I have the orange one from the Ovetons/SkiLimited catalog that looks like an antique canister vacuum. It is made by the Metropolitan Vacuum Co. They offer it in 12v or 120v. I have the 12V & mounted it permanantly behind the rear seat back between the seat back & the front carpeted panal of the rear storage compartment. It is hidden & "sound muffled" there. I wired a toggle switch & mounted it up above the side storage/cup holder area & curl the hose up to the rear of where those two "side" cupholders are. there may be better blowers out there, but that one works ten times better than the little hand held ones that hurt your ears. I spread the tube out on the rear sun deck, the hose reaches fine but I did order an extra length of hose from the vacuum company.

I'll check to see what model I have, but it will inflate my 3-seater Sea Doo tube in less than 2 minutes. It's shaped more like a big can of Baked Beans than those little mini turbines.

Last time I was in the watersports section of my local sporting goods store, I saw that AERO was now making tubes. If you own an AEROBED, you know that they blow up very quickly with the supplied inflator. It looked like the AERO tubes came with a 12v version of the bed pumps. Might be worth a look....

Anybody have experience with that small shop vac in the Overton's catalog that also reverses and blows up tubes? It uses the cigarette lighter for power (12v?).

Seems like that would be really handy.
