Hi all

The Stbd ballast switch is on my A22 is not lighting up/working. I have pulled the pump and it is still working (hooked it up to a battery and it spins). With the pump disconnected the breaker for the stbd ballast switch is still popping out. Any idea what it could be?

You could have a dead short somewhere in the wiring harness, a faulty breaker, or the pump could be drawing too many amps.  Try your ballast pump directly to the battery test again, but this time connect a 5 amp fuse inline and see if it blows.  If the pump is good, remove the connections from the breaker and connect a 5 amp fuse in its place to see if it blows.  If the fuse is ok, replace the breaker, if the fuse blows then replace the wiring.
