Surf Gate and Liquid Force Wakeshaper

Hi Everyone,

Just was wondering on a Malibu with Surf Gate (I have a 2020 21 MLX), has anyone tried running a liquid force wakeshaper with the surf gate? On liquid forces website it says "For surf systems with tabs that come out of the sides of the hull such as Malibu’s Surf Gate, you will achieve best results by placing the Wakesurf Edge Shaper in front of the surf gate, but higher up on the hull."

Thanks,

Shakil

Some people like to surf and some people like to tinker with surf waves (like hot rodding a car that will never see a race).  If you want to surf fill the ballast add some weight to the bow and go surf.  If you just want the biggest baddest wave on the lake then go ahead and experiment.  Not many people are going to have a lot experience trying modify brand new great surfing boats into.....greater surfing boats.
