Bow bag not filling

Recommended Posts

Hey all, first summer with a 2020 T23. I noticed that when I am filling the bags the bow bag immediately is coming out the overflow. I have run it for a while and tried emptying. Nothing comes out when I flip to empty - I can hear a pump running.

are bow bag optional and it’s just acting like a plug and play addition? Or is something else going on?

thanks!

Is your pump clogged? That happened to me on a trip to debris-filled river. Had to open pump and clean it out. Pump is under removable floor cover near drivers/observers seat where midship hull plug is.

I will have to look into the pump being clogged. I did look under the seats and there is a capped hose under each and an additional hose on the starboard side running up to what I assume is an overflow.

it seems like the capped hoses are for PnP, and the standard bow ballast would be sub-floor like everything else. Still wondering if there is a way to tell if we have the sub-floor. If we do it would seem like then it’s a pump or hose plumbing issue.

would be nice to work out before the season is over but also not too far off from getting it winterized and can have it checked then too.

Axis does not use a standard underfloor tank for the bow ballast. The factory option is to add the plug n play plumbing and install a bag under the seats. Sounds to me like you have the plumbing but not the bag.

What is the timing through your dealer? They may have them in stock.
