Used boat information (years of changes)

We are going to buy a newer boat this year and I am trying to find out what big changes happens by year. For Malibu we would by 2013 or newer because of surf gates. Axis 2018 or later for power wedge. 
 

What are the other big changes since 2013 for Malibu?  We would most likely go 23LSV. We have 6 kids so want all around for wakeboard, surf and tubing.  T23 could be an option too. Will buy this winter. 
 

want a good used reliable boat and all these new computers make me nervous so a little older could be good or 2017-2019 for some warranty.

13- has the older dash and circular gages, V25 hull, 4100 dry weight, Rockford OEM Head unit 

14- 1 and done dash, different hull. (Wake plus)With more freeboard. Little heavier 4500lbs, larger 67gal tank, same Rockford head unit .

15+ new dash with large blue touchscreen , integrated stereo, surf knob.
