Boat mechanic

Recommended Posts

Anyone know of a mechanic in southern vermont or southern NH who can plug my 05 iride in? I think I'm burning oil or getting to much fuel, I've messed with everything on this boat this summer I've had enough, east coast flightcraft beyond screwed us and now I'm stuck

Don't really know, but  Mastercraft used Indmar engines too.  Not sure you can pull much info out of an 05 MEFI 4 ECM.

Also, a former member of the Green Mountain Water Skiers club. Late 70's, early 80's. Waterbury Reservoir.

Might be better to start with what your problems are. Diacom isn't going to tell you if you are burning oil or getting too much fuel.

I might start with a leak down test. it will give you a good idea of the internal working of the engine. Valves rings head gaskets without taring it down. Many shops can do it. If you are having a hard time finding a shop to do it check a good performance shop. In my days of racing if you were serious you had the equipment. Its not a hard test to run and does not take long to do it.
