Wedge Position Sensor

We have a faulty wedge position sensor on a 2010 Malibu and it is no longer supported by Malibu or the third party manufacturer. The Malibu part #6174028 (Lobostar part# WS03) Has anyone repaired  a sensor like this or replaced one? Has anyone retrofitted a wedge for a boat like this?  Apparently is was called a Malibut Sunscape but by the next year (2011) it was called a Wakesetter.

Maybe you can use a Mercruiser or volvo trim sender.

Same issue here with my 2008 23LSV.  Anyone found a solution?

Also, following this thread. We have 2008 23 Wakesetter XTI and have the same issue.  Tried the trim sensor for Mercruisers and it didn’t match up - So no go therefor us. Anyone ever come up with any ideas?

Same issue here, but with 2018 axis t22.  I'm taking to the shop this weekend.   But wondering if you ever found a solution
