Sudden engine shutdown - 247 Wakestter LSV

Hi all - I have a 2011 Wakesetter LSV 247.  A few weeks ago, I heard a little bit of a buzz over the speaker system and then a few seconds later the engine shut down.  Looked like the Maliview reset as well -- I had to type in the start pin, but then it started right back up.  This happened a few times.  I had a few weeks of no issues -- during that time I had the codes checked and nothing showed (plus had an oil and transmission service as well).  Well it happened again last night a couple of times and then again today.  The last time it happened the speed and RPM gauges froze in place and the engine wouldn't restart.  Before that happened, the throttle was not responding all that well when engaged -- it felt like a lot of drag and was just running rough.  When I couldn't get the system to restart, I shut off the batteries for about two minutes, which did the trick and allowed the system to reboot. I was able to get it to the dock, where we had lunch and rested for about an hour.  After that, we went out for about another hour and it ran great.

Any thoughts on what is causing this?  I've talked with two mechanics, neither of whom were much help (especially given that there were no codes).

I would recommend looking for loose electrical connections or low voltage at the batteries, starter, engine block ground, breakers, battery switch, under dash connections and power button, and then work your way to the helm and engine main harness connectors.
