High Shot Fuel intake warning

Recommended Posts

We have a new 22LSV. Surfed to gas station this morning. Emptied ballasts while waiting in line. Then filled the tank and upon turning engine on we got a service warning “high shot fuel intake” warning. I’ve checked caps and connections and can’t see anything. Putted back to dock and let it sit. just turned boat on again and warning comes up immediately. Ideas?

That code indicates the fuel pressure is too high.  It can be caused by a faulty fuel pressure regulator on the fuel pump, a faulty pressure sensor, or a wiring issue on the sensor circuit.  I would have your dealer check it out.  If you have the M series engine, there may be an ECM update and some other bulletins that need to be addressed while it is there.
