Exclamation mark by RPM indicator

Recommended Posts

The family and I where out surfing today in our new Malibu 23 LSV today and I noticed this exclamation point by the RPM Indicator on the display

It wasn’t there all the time.

Not sure if it something to be concerned about.

Thank you!

I did look at the engine active codes but nothing was listed.

Thanks dcarl for the information.

The last thing I want is to have something happen to my awesome boat!

Agree with above.  Mine comes on every time I am on the water, and it is always the auto-bilge.  Not that it cant be something else, but generally per my dealer, if there is an engine issue, you will also get a banner along the entire top of the screen.  If you only see the ! it was likely your bilge pump coming on.

Somebody needs to fix the display code for this.

What software version do you have?

I do not know.  The boat was new in May and it will be the weekend before I get to it.  I will check then.  When it first showed up I discussed this with my dealer and they had not seen this.   When I shut down and restarted it was gone but did show up periodically.

The spray date was Monday and the Covid shutdown was Tuesday......  I picked up the boat the week after they resumed.
