THE $495 IMPELLER CHANGE

On the new m5di it took me less than 15 minutes to change the impeller. It’s in the top of the engine.  Plenty of clearance.  Just pull the pump cap and the old impeller comes out easy with some 90 degree needle nose pliers.  The hardest parts are not dropping the cover bolts and lining up the keyed impeller.

For sure. I dread the day one needs a steering cable.

Think I would pull the ballast tank. And lay down in there and hope I had someone to hand me everything and is not sensitive. Cause no telling how I would talk to them 😂😂😂

That sounds like that would be about the time when you say F it, time for a new boat.

Wanna come do an M235 for us next time we have one in?

Ill even buy you lunch. Lol!

Not dying to work on another thing that is difficult, but I'm sure it is doable.  I maintain a BWM and Audi in our household - damn near everything is a blind reach and looks impossible to do without removing 8 other parts.  And Germans can't make a decent gasket design so half of your maintenance is fixing leaks...
