new speedometer not displaying fuel level

hi all,

I have a 2015 A20, I just installed a newer speedometer, all is working except for the fuel level.

The A20 came with a 2014 version, I got a "newer" 2016 version, which has an updated software version. Speed, surfgate, cruise are all working properly except for fuel level.

Thoughts?

On 2013 to 2015 Axis boats the fuel level sender was wired to the speedo connector plug, but in 2016 the fuel level sender was wired to the I/O module and it was transmitted across the CAN to the GDIG and speedo.  Basically, you likely have the wrong gauge for your boat since 2016 was the first year an I/O module was used and it had different electrical systems and wiring than 2015 and earlier models.
