Throttle does Not lock into Neutral

I have a 2011 LVS 23. My throttle has the button on top that you push to engage throttle out of neutral amd into gear. My throttle will go.into neutral but does not lock in. Anyone know the fix on this? Is it something I can do?

I have the same problem.  I hope someone has a solution since this seems to be a safety issue

It’s usually a c-clip or spring missing. Pop the plastic button off (carefully) and check to see why the plunging rod isn’t going back down.

It's a pretty simple pull. Take the 3 or 4 screws out that attach it to the panel so you can see the back. It's just a little notch that it springs down into, when you pull up on the ring to put it in gear it pulls it up out of the notch. It may have just rounded the corners of the notch. I very gentle file will probably fix it
