Wake gate addition

Can modern Malibu surfgate/wakegates be added to a 2006 247? If so, how much would it cost? Thanks!

Malibu would tell you no and won't sell you the parts, but it can be done (but I believe Malibu specifically states adding surfgate to a non suftgate boat voids the hull warranty.) GSA is a much easier option.

GSA = https://www.gosurfassist.com/  If you are the original owner, you _might_ have a lifetime hull warranty.  Not sure it is negated by the GSA install nonetheless.

I didn't know that thing was still around.  I think it was an option on Centurion back 10 years ago. No clue how well it works for surfing but I do remember it looking huge on the back of the boat.
