From many old posts it looks like folks are recommending Rotella 15w40 Diesel for a Monsoon 340. But which grade rotella? (T4, T5, T6????).

Which ever you like.   The t4 is just fine

Just make sure that the oil you select has an S rating as well as a C rating.

The new rotella no longer carries an s rating, although consensus is that formula had not changed.   I use delo see 400 these days, but rotella is still fine.
