Is there a market for a used power wedge

I had to replace the wedge (power ii wedge) and the dealer said they may have thrown it away. The insurance cover the wedge but there was minor damage. The wedge is still practically brand new. Should i have tried to keep the wedge and try to sell it? Thank you in advance for any advice.

what do i do if i ask dealer and they say they threw it out already? that's what they alluded to when i first asked.

Just ask them if they still have it, but I would high recommend that if you want your parts back after a repair is completed that you make the request before the repairs are done.

Have a buddy call the dealer and say he is looking for Power Wedge and ask if they have one available for sale. ;)

Or you could just try to be honest and straightforward with them.  Silly, right?

I think he already tried that and was told they threw it out. Could be true or not. Just offering an idea to possibly find out using a different method. If the dealer is being honest and straightforward no harm done if not a PowerWedge may come up for sale soon ;)
