When I purchased my A22 recently I was told that the surf band will increase the tower speakers only. It appears that it controls zone 2 which currently is the speaker by the drivers feet and not the tower speakers. Would this be a wiring issue on the amps or a programming issue? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

initial thought......the connections from the Black box to the amps are incorrect.

I would try to look at your wiring and verify that Zone2 is feeding the amp/speaker channel you want the band to control.  The output wires on the Black box should be labeled.
