Current - 23LSV to a 22 MXZ

We currently have a 2007 23 LSV and we planned to upgrading to a 2016-2018 23 LSV. Would I be disappointed with the size of the 22 MXZ. We use the bow regularly. Will the back of the boat feel tight. Will a 2017 of both years throw the same wake/wave or will one be better?

If you use the bow regularly the mxz will definitely win in that category. You do loose some cabin space. Depending on your crew size it may not be a factor. We had 5 adults in the cabin of a mxz with full cold gear, dry suits, blankets, gloves etc and it was tight, but not terrible. There is still lots of storage for gear. I’ve found, no matter the size of the boat you will never have “enough space”. Even when my friends had a 46’ Sea Ray, we’d be asking people to move when we needed to get to dock lines, fenders, etc.
