Boat dies going into gear

. 89 evenrude 175 xp

I had all three carbs professionally rebuilt.tuned up. Replaced coils and power pack. Replaced all fuel lines and filter. Replaced thermostats. Compression in all six cylinders is above 100. Boat still hard to crank. Runs good until I shut it off and fish for a while. Then when I crank it up. Low idle acts like it's about to die and when I put it into gear it dies. Help!!
