High Voltage on 20017 Malibu 23LSV

I have a 2017 23LSV, the voltage ran great yesterday.  Today when we went in the boat, when in idle the voltage is normal.  When I put it in gear it raises a little and when I put on the throttle the voltage jumps high.  Any thoughts?

Need more info. What does voltage ran great mean? What motor, what does it jump up to? Mine runs at 14.2 or 14.3 all the time.

This happened on my M235 and they had to replace the entire alternator.

It happened on our M235 also and also had to replace the alternator. You will get a warning at 16.1 volts if it is the same problem. I believe I was able to look up the code on the Bake’s website.
