Amp Light Question

My stereo has been cutting out when I go over bigger waves. I’m usually on pretty smooth water so I haven’t paid it much attention, but this weekend we are on a bigger lake and it is constantly cutting out. I was watching the amp when it did it and noticed that just below the blue power light on the amp a purplish light would illuminate while the sound was off and then go out when the sound came back on. (Image attached...blue power light on the left and purple light on the right) Anyone know what that light is and how it might relate to my issue?  Thanks

Likely protect mode. Amp shuts down output under certain conditions. Could be a broken solder or component on the PCB or a shorting speaker lead.

Both amps (tower speaker and boat speaker) do the same thing at the same time. Does this change anything?
