Prop suggestions for 2006 247

I have been looking around the site for a few days, but haven’t found an answer. I currently have a 1273 prop, but looking for something better for surfing/wakeboarding. I don’t need to go over 40 mph top speed.
Some suggestions I found was 2247 or 2315.

Engine?  It is a very big deal on yours, as you could have the 383 Hammerhead or Big Block, and the Big Block has a different Vdrive ratio, so a suggestion for a Hammerhead doesn't translate over at all to the BBC.

With the 1273 prop (14.5) I only have 1” clearance to the bottom of hull. So a 15” would net me to 3/4” clearance.

this is the response from Acme:

The differences going to a 15-inch diameter aren’t going to be too much of a difference because of that heavy cup in the #1273 makes up for that need for diameter so it’s almost splitting hairs if you’re satisfied with the #1273.

That said, yes you could go with a 15-inch diameter if you’d like. Measure your tip clearance to be sure you’ve got an extra .25 inces to make up that .50 inch increase in diameter. We’d like to see 1 inch for safe propulsion so if you’ve got 1.25 inches you should be good.

As for the 15-inch options, you could #2249-15x14.25 4-Blade with. 105 Cup, a little bit better hole shot than what you’re running now with a loss of about ½ mile an hour on the top end but it’d be minimal. You could also go with the #2247 which has the heavier cup (.150) and hole shot would be similar, a little bit better, but more of 1 mile an hour loss on the top end. Lastly, we wouldn’t go with a #2315 given the amount of weight you mentioned. If you had 4,000 pounds or so, then we might go that direction, but given the weight and that the #1273 isn’t struggling too much then another option in between the #2249 and #2315 would be the #2773--15x13 4-Blade with .105 Cup. You’ll lose more top speed with the #2773 but it’d have better acceleration and holding speed at Wakesurf speed.

3/4" clearance is fine.  No need to measure - Malibu has never sold a Vdrive that wouldn't safely clear a 15" prop.  Any model, any hull, any year.  I would think a 2313 would get you where you want to be if you are okay with the 1273 but want a bit more pulling power.

My prop guide should help:
