Fire Extinguisher Fuse Location

I’m installing a heater in my boat today and I am looking for the best way to power the circulation pump. There is a wire in the engine compartment that says Heater Pump but as long as the battery selector is not in the off position it is live. Seems like an easy way to end up with a dead battery. So after searching around I found a Fire Extinguisher wire behind the throttle that is only powered when the dash is powered. However, I can’t tell where the wire Is receiving its power and if it has a fuse. Nothing under the dash and I can’t find one in the engine compartment. Anyone know where it might be? Any reason I shouldn’t use this to power the pump? Thanks
