Trouble finding a new blower switch

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me out. I can't seem to find a new blower switch for my dash in my 2000 Sportster. The original is a 4 prong connection but everywhere I've tried around me (Vancouver BC) has only 2 and 3 prong switches.

Rotary switch or rocker switch?  I can't imagine why you'd need a 4 prong.  Even if it is illuminated it only needs a ground, and positive in and out (3 prong.)  Non illuminated it would be just 2 prong, unless I am missing something.

Thanks for your help guys, I was able to get a 3 prong and it should work. Not sure why it was a 4 prong to begin with either. @Eagleboy99 I was able to find it at Bridgeview.

Maybe list the part number of what you found to help others in the future?

The part # is Land sea-ca 11-MP78710, we ended up using a 2 prong switch and it worked great. Got it through Bridgeview Marine.

Sorry I took so long to respond I was able to get away for 2 weeks up at the lake and get some skiing in.
