Swim platform risers needed

2009 VTX. Converted this boat to a wake, surf, and ski boat. Need to raise the swim platform 4 inches. Ideas?  Anybody sell replacement brackets and risers? The old pinholes are worn etc. and it pops off now.

I took them to a welding shop and had them fill in the old holes, then I re-drilled them.  This tightened everything back up nicely!  Not sure if the worn holes are why you are wanting to raise the platform, if so this will solve your problem.  You can get the newer style platform brackets, but I only found those from a dealer, and pricewise, I liked my way better.

A common way to raise the swim platform is to leave the existing brackets where they are (assuming the gelcoat and fiberglass are in good shape) then use 1 or more 2" square tubes as riser blocks between the platform and platform brackets. Using aluminum, like 6061, can help with eliminating corrosion. Getting 2 in square tube is fairly cheap, if you don't have a local supplier then an online retailer such as onlinemetsals.com has reasonable prices:
