2015 VTX wakeboard wake

We sold a 2004 Nautique Super Air 210 last year and bought a VTX with the diamond hull.  It's working well for surfing, skiing, and barefooting, but my son (19 years old, does flippy and spinny things both directions) is currently disappointed in the wakeboard wake.  I know the hull length and shape mean the wake won't ever be like the Nautique, but am hoping suggestions from you all can help me improve it.  We're after the tallest, steepest wake possible.  How are y'all doing it?

Thanks in advance for the help.

How much weight are you running in it?

For wake boarding I run full MLS front and mid ship.  50% on rear tanks.  Wedge all the way down.

650 pound bow sack - 2 600 pound sacks in the rear lockers.

You should get plenty of boost from that

We're running stock ballast plus two 550# plug and play sacks in the rear.  I'll add a bow bag.  Thanks.
