Transmission Lines and Hoses

Hey there again gang,

 

So I've got my 2000 Malibu VLX in the shop because I had a transmission fluid leak I couldn't track down. It's a very reputable shop and they determined that the leak was coming from the hoses. I've got no problem letting them do the job but I'm sitting around waiting for them to get the hoses delivered and they are telling me they've been ordered but they have no idea when they will be in. Seems odd in this day and age of technology that they wouldn't get a tracking number or estimated delivery from whomever they buy them from. Is there an off the shelf replacement for transmission lines/hoses? Someplace I can go buy them and be like "here ya go guys, put em in?"

You could get replacements made locally by a shop that does custom hydraulic hoses.   You would need to bring them the old ones to duplicate.  Pirtek is the one I have used for custom automatic trans lines

That was my thought as well, guess I'd have to ask the shop to hand over the hoses and take em with me. May give them a call tomorrow...

I have seen that product orders from all kinds of vendors have become completely unpredictable recently.  Business closures in different states have made things super crazy and frustrating.
