Sound system not playing 2018 M235

I just bought a 2018 Malibu M235 I haven’t even had a chance to take it out on the water yet I will this weekend I was trying out the sound system through Bluetooth and it was working good but then it just stoped playing. On the screen it says that the song is playing and that the volume is up but it’s not producing any sound. I reset the screen and powered the sound system on and off which she didn’t do anything so I’m thinking that the boat is just trying to save battery by not letting me play music the voltage is 12.1. What do you guys think?

Were the amps flashing red where the Malibu logo is?

Did you try plugging in to the USB port? AM or FM? Or maybe your kid took your Spotify. Happens to me all the time.

I did not check the amps I will check tomorrow what does flashing red indicate? Low battery? And yes I also tried am/fm usb and aux. They all came up on the screen as if they were playing but the system wasn’t producing any sound.

The amps will flash a code if there is an issue. Low voltage could be a problem but if you were at 12.1 on the dash I don’t think that’s it. Here is code chart if it is flashing.

Hey 👋 

I know that this post is quite old but I’ve got exactly the same problem on my 21 mlx from 2018 and cannot find a solution by myself. Boths Amps are good, blue lights not flashing, batteries are good too.

Did you manage to fix it ?

(sorry if my English is not good, I’m from France 😬)
