Surf Gate Right Reed Switch Open

I’m getting this error on my 2016 LSV 23.  Anyone get this notification before?   I was going to run the Surf Gate calibration but unsure if I should do that in the water or dry dock.  Suggestions?   Still under warranty but if this is an easy fix it would be great to just take care of it.

You can calibrate on the water or land.

If it keeps happening it's dealer time.

Similar issue seen a few years back.  Suggest you get this fixed under warranty.

I had this issue as well.   Ended up at dealer.   The reed switch is integrated into the actuator so mine was replaced.   

Replaced actuator still didn't work though.  I think dealer ended up re-running my SG wiring.    When the actuator was replaced the "leads" were very short and felt caught under the flooring.   We suspect wiring was getting pinched somewhere under the floor potentially.   Who knows for sure, but ultimately it all got corrected and I never had an issue after that.
