Hi everyone

My temperature gauge is not working. When I turn on the key or unplug the wire on the MDC, it “flickers” but that’s it. It’s facing the opposite way of where it should be pointing to.  
 

Any suggestions? I also am not entirely sure about locating the temperature sensor on the engine. 
 

Any help would Be greatly appreciated!
