Computer reading wrong temp

Recommended Posts

First time on lake two weeks ago.  2001 wakesetter starts right up. 2 easy laps around lake all seems good.  Stopped boar middle of lake. Turn off for ten minutes.  Try to restart. Turns over.  Will not fire.  New boater. Not mechanical.  Take to shop.  They’ve had two weeks. All they can tell me is computer is reading temperature of manifold at negative 32 degrees, which they say is what it defaults to when problem.  They can not determine problem.

As a note, they did replace old faulty digital multipurpose gauge earlier this spring. Put in smog multi purpose. They claim that is not why.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.
