Prop selection

I would like some prop suggestions.  I have searched and did a lot of reading but some of the threads are old like my boat.  It is a 2006 VLX 21.5 ft. with the Monsoon 340.  It has the wedge and the 4 factory hard tanks and no extra ballast but people.  Current prop is a Acme 537 which I dont like the performance of.  It has excessive slip.  Boat is used for wakeboarding and surfing with normal running around the lake.  I dont want to kill my cruising abilities.  I am looking at 14.5" props like the 1941, 1273, or 1235.  Or do I need to look at 15" props like the 2247 or 2249? I'm not sure if I have the HP for a 15".

In my experience with a 2010/340/VLX  in GA.

If you're not running any extra ballast over the stock tanks and want more hole shot the 1941, 1235, or 1273 will work just fine. I'd look for the cheapest one in that order.

If you plan to add a lot of additional ballast then I'd look at the 15". My boat runs the 15" propellers well.

You will burn more gas when cruising with the 15" not so much more with the 14.5.

Thanks BigE. I think a 1941 would work but I am leaning towards the tried and true 1235.  Nettles props recommended  the 1615 but I think that is to low for me.  I dont run extra ballast but do have big people and big coolers.  Fully loaded 70qt in the surf side storage.
