surf settings

crazy question but i am new owner of Axis T22 and have just getting it going now.  can someone walk me through start to finish how to start up surf gate and use wedge?  did not get demo.

how about a dummy guide? :) 

1. fill up ballast as i am running boat on way to where we will surf?

2?  need to be moving 1-2 mph to engage Surf Gate?  

how about step by step for a rookie?

might not be much help as I have a 2016 with the floating wedge but  my step by step

 

 I fill everything full   pp 900's in the back 650 in the front

drop the wedge ( eq to setting your wedge at desired lvl on your boat not sure what your setting needs to be but a quick search of these forums will give that to you.) 

set speed/cruise to 11 and surfgate to the side the surfer wants to surf on. typically , left foot forward for surf left right foot forward surf right.

drop rope and go.  

 

also not sure on the 19's but my boat loves bow weight. ( I have about 400lbs of lead stuffed in the nose and as far up in observers storage as I can get it.)
