My new to me 2007 I Ride

So as stated in a different post I bought an I ride and it had a bent prop strut and shaft.    Finally got it on the water Friday and the battery was dead.    Not the start I was hoping for but I put a new battery in in and got it back in the water yesterday.

My first impressions.
Speedo was east to calibrate

cruise was a little tricky to figure out but we did it both speed and rpm

I have previously owned 2 direct drives A Moomba outback and a Malibu skier.
This is a bit bigger than both and not as nimble although still better handling than a v drive.    It has the upgraded 340 monsoon which was more powerful than I expected.   Good job indmar!    It was also much louder than I expected both behind the boat and in the boat.   Steering seems effortless and it tracks very well.    It’s called a “crossover” boat but I wouldn’t want to ski behind it.    I’m not a skier or a wakeboarder.    I ride a sit down hydrofoil.     The few wake rolls I threw the wake  felt like a pretty solid wake at 24.5.

overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase now that it is back in the water.    Happy boating everyone! I’m looking forward to a great summer with my new to me Malibu boat!!
