I have a 2005 Malibu LSI. Boat started up, ran for approx. 30 secs. and died.  It sputtered and would not start again.  The fuses under the stereo system are fine.  I found a connector back by the engine and trans that had three 20 amp mini fuses in it.  One was blown.  I replaced it and the boat started. It was the end of the season so I ran it for 10 sec. or so.  Today I hooked up the water and she fired up..again for approx. 30 sec.  The fuse was blown again.  I replaced two out if the three relays last year. From what I read they all have to work to activate the fuel pump. I will replace the last one.  I do not feel this is the problem.  Any insight I would really appreciate it. What would cause excessive amp draw to blow that fuse.  Thank you for your time and consideration.  Bob

Also check the connector for the fuel pump.  I don't know the year range where it was an issue, but some of them had a poor connection even when mated properly.  The power loss was high enough to melt the connector housing.
