Thru Hulls Needed?

Dickerson

Recommended Posts

I recently just purchased a 2008 Malibu Wakesetter 247 LSV. I noticed so holes at the bottom of the boat that have threads in them. Do I need to get thru hulls to protect anything from getting into the ballast?

Sounds like you have thru hulls.  Not sure what you're asking.  Typically your thru hulls will have a ball valve and aerator pump attached to them.  I've never seen any type of filter or screen between the water and the ballast bag/tank.  Nothing very big will pass through the pump into the ballast system.
