I hope that you can order without. We hate the walkthrough/over.

What does it really help? I have never had issues with sun pad seams seperating like the seat cushions. Other than smaller step down to rear seat, I don't really care for the notched up sun pad either. I understand the filler pads fix this but what is the real advantage unless it is floor level like bigger cruisers and no climbing at all to pass through?

Hard to see the 22mxz coming back with the 23mxz and the 24mxz.  The 22mxz was 22'5" so it didn't technically fit the slot limit that some lakes have.

We loved there 22mxz and would have bought another one instead of ordering a '21 23lsv.

Other than the price delta, were there other reasons you went 23 lsv over 23 mxz?

Honestly, it was a price thing. Previously the walkthrough and design (2017 was my last purchase before this one) helped justify the difference. 2020 it would have been a no brainer to go 23MXZ over 23LSV. I slightly prefer the standard bow look, but like the pickle fork of the MXZ in terms of function and space for people. (provides a nice space for lead too) The updated LSV makes it very comparable to the MXZ...almost identical now outside of the bow.

If I was going to spend 23mxz money I'd jump to the M220 with the core dash. I think the performance of the 23lsv and 23mxz will be very similar, where the M220 is going to be better.. At the end of the day I don't put that many hours on the boat and I felt like the bang for the buck was better on the 23lsv. My 2017 had 110 hours when I sold it in August. We have a pontoon and a few jet skis, so when we're on the wake boat we use it and then put it away.

Interesting perspective.  We took a good look at the 23MXZ before ordering our 23LSV.  We both like it a lot.  Like you, we have a pontoon, a couple jet skis and a Response LXI.  The latter of which gets the least hours each season as it's used to ski only and gets put away when done.  One of our jet skis and our wake boat live on a different lake than where our pontoon and Response live yet we still get north of 60 hours / season on the wake boat.  We had our 22VLX for 2 seasons and put 162 hours on it.  Then about 20 hours on the RLXi each of the last 2 seasons.
