Speaker covers (big blocking)

Hey I can’t seem to find any stores who sell speaker covers/nets that I can use when towing the boat to prevent bugs from splattering. Does anyone have a good source that fit the 8 inch wet sound speakers please?

While I love all my exile audio speakers, their covers leave a lot to be desired. Don’t think I would pay for them second time around and would lean towards speaker Sox.

I bought these for mine. Only used on long road hauls so the name not being Wetsounds don't bother me much. Although I did black out the white lettering mostly because one set had to be upside down. Fit good. With the 30% group buy, the Wetsounds sets will still be Higher.https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/RWBC/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIt9eA-q-46QIVi4bACh20Swj3EAQYBCABEgIIDfD_BwE

I bought Speaker Sox but they faded quite quickly in a approximately the first year.  Live in Seattle, so only 3 months of sun exposure use per year with other months in dry storage.  This is also with a  covered slip during those 3 months. I ordered the black for 4 WetSounds towers.  Except for fading to grey, good construction quality.  Bummed about the fading.  https://www.speakersox.com/home.htm

Jim at Speaker Sox was super responsive via email today.   I inquired about a set for Rev 8s. I was thinking about buying some dark blue.   He pointed out...  “ I recommend black all day. The reason is that the dark blue is nearly black in color however because I buy the black fabric by the container load, I get a price break. So instead of pocketing the difference, I buy a higher grade fabric. I will send you one pair of Rev 8 in the higher quality extreme fabric shipped.”   I expect to be satisfied with this purchase and will report back next week. 👍

Been using my black ones for several years with zero fade at all - I never take them off.

a little tight going on (zipper) but doable

Unfortunately the bracket does not allow a nice fit on the lower speakers and they have to be upside down. Bad engineering in my opinion
