This is a little spring loaded plunger on the bottom of this captains chair. Does anybody know what it’s purpose is?

Mine connected to an air bladder for lumbar support but the plastic bladder didn’t hold air so it really is just a fidget.

My bladder still works. So does my dad's. Both 01 models. Depress plunger and you should see lumbar support pop out. Press again and lean back to deflate.

I haven’t used mine in a decade or more. I will have to see if it still works next time I am in the boat. Fairly certain I’m the only one in the family who even knows it exits.
